Their range and choice of subjects is endless - glittering tropical fishes of the coral reef, cute country style houses, exotic flowers, birds and animals, everyday scenes of Caribbean people at work and at play, daily modes of transport - cars and buses, the colorful little tap taps the "people's bus" , used to transport everything from passengers to ducks and goats and chickens! There is nothing that escapes these creative artists - and the glittering hues created by the brilliant Caribbean sun is their palette!We use only the highest quality woods and hardboard, which we import into Haiti to avoid becoming part of the unfortunate deforestation taking place here. Once our original designs have been meticulously transferred, the wood is then machine cut before been passed on to our talented team of painters. |
